San Pedro Fish Market and West Harbor Park

Elan Construction Inc built out the San Pedro Fish Market site on the Port of LA waterfront, a commercial restaurant project finished in 2025 and permitted with the City and Port. We followed it with the adjacent West Harbor park, finished in 2026. Our shop is right here in San Pedro, so this one was close to home.

The Restaurant Site

We started with the ground. Our crew graded the lot with loaders and a motor grader, then paved it, compacting the new asphalt with a roller. Trenches went in for utilities, and we set the steel posts that frame the site.

The kitchen runs on modular units. Shipping containers were craned into place and converted for storage and refrigeration, framed and insulated inside before finish. We made the plumbing and HVAC hookups to every unit.

Getting in and around is easy. ADA ramps with wood railings and wood decking connect the units and seating, and a new concrete walk runs along the fence line with tactile warning strips at the crossings.

West Harbor Park

Next door, we built a park for the waterfront. It has a green lawn, rows of picnic tables under blue umbrellas and new landscaping, with planted beds along the walkway.
