Whole-Home Remodel and Addition in Redondo Beach

This Redondo Beach home got a full remodel plus an addition, built by Elan Construction Inc. We reworked the floor plan, added new living space, and finished the house inside and out so the new and old parts read as one home. Here is a look at the finished work, room by room.

Master Bath

The master bath is built around a freestanding tub, a glass-enclosed walk-in shower with arabesque marble tile, and a double vanity with a marble top over patterned cement-look tile. A separate toilet room and a thermostatic shower valve round it out.

Closets

The walk-in closet has lit shelving and a full bank of drawers. A second closet is set up just for shoes and handbags, so everything has a place.

Living Spaces

Bedrooms got new hardwood floors. In the main living area we built a fireplace wall with a TV, built-in cabinets and a wet bar sink. Sliders open the house to a private courtyard patio.

Exterior

Out front, a tile roof, stone veneer, an iron gate and wall sconces set the tone. The side yard has an arched stucco wall with stacked-stone inlays and a lightwell stair down to the lower level. At the rear, lower-level sliders open below a stone-cap balcony with iron railing.
